Battista Bespoke: CMF Design

During my career at Automobili Pininfarina, I worked on a variety of design projects. My last position in the company was as Junior CMF Designer. The majority of my work in the CMF Design team focused on the bespoke design and configurations of Battista. Developing CMF themes and moods and translating them to bespoke configurations for Battista customers (colour palettes, material combinations, graphics and liveries).

While most of this work is confidential, some of the cars that I have worked on with the CMF team are now in the hands of their owners.

Battista Edizione Nino Farina

One of the biggest projects the team worked on, this special edition to celebrate the first ever Formula 1 World Champion, Nino Farina, the nephew of Battista "Pinin" Farina. My work consisted of initial design ideation, mood board creation, configuration proposals and graphic- and livery design.

B95

This project was very exciting, as it allowed me to work in a very creative part of CMF design: liveries. During this project, I worked on the initial design ideas from historic references, mood boards, and then livery design, working to find the most interesting colour- and graphics combinations that will give B95 its unique look and feel, with references to motorsport history.

Customer cars

A large part of my work in the CMF team was spent on Bespoke Battista configurations for customers. While most of these are confidential, or remain hidden from public by owners request, you can see two examples below, including a beautiful example in Giallo Arneis and a gorgeous Iconica Blu-tinted exposed carbon fibre Battista with bespoke Centocinquanta graphics.
